Pure World Energy utilises Capstone microturbines to help a variety of industrial and commercial businesses.
Capstone Turbine Corporation is the world's leading developer and manufacturer of clean and green gas-powered microturbine power generation systems, and was first to market with its high efficiency air bearing turbine technology. Many of the Fortune 500 top global companies use Capstone products.
Capstone has shipped over 9,000 microturbines to customers worldwide. These innovative and award-winning systems have logged millions of documented runtime operating hours and are compliant with current and future emissions regulations.
If you have any questions about our market-leading microburbines, we're always happy to help.
Get in TouchAdvanced engineering and more than 100 patents certainly put Capstone microturbines in a class of their own. By integrating an aero-based turbine engine, a magnetic generator and advanced power electronics with patented air bearing technology, Capstone microturbines are the ideal solution for today's distributed generation needs.
Saving energy, money, and the environment
The turbines operate on a variety of fuels, including natural gas, associated gas, biogas, LPG/propane, and liquid fuels (diesel, kerosene, and aviation fuel). In resource recovery applications, microturbines burn waste gases that would otherwise be flared or released directly into the atmosphere.
Capstone microturbines can be installed individually or in a ‘multi-pack’ configuration and can function in parallel with, or independently from, the local power grid. They are compact, quiet and lightweight, and provide reliable energy when and where it's needed.
Capstone microturbines feature the lowest emissions of any non-catalysed gas combustion engine.
A further illustration of Capstone's environmental merits is the fact that they are California Air Resources Board (CARB) accredited - a renowned status which has exacting standards. Air pollution in California, and Los Angeles in particular, is a well-documented problem, and the aggressive standard of CARB was introduced to help tackle the issue. It’s highly probable that the UK will follow suit, by also raising standards to a more stringent level in future, and therefore choosing Capstone microturbines provides an element of future-proofing, in terms of environmental compliance.
